| This was made during the WWII era and used extensively in the Pacific Theater. Interesting is the Baker Blade since at that time, some crawler/dozers still had cable operated blades. The W is for wide track as it had a significantly wider footprint than the HD-7. It used a direct electric motor starter rather than a pony engine as many used at that time. Powered by Detroit GM 3-71 Diesel with supercharger hanging off the right side of the engine. |
