The Pacific H6 appears to have been built by THE PACIFIC IRON AND MACHINE CO. of San Diego, California. I have had this tractor for about 20 years now, and have had many internet forums going on the history of this unique piece of Farm Machinery. To date five tractors have been located and serial numbers documented. The span of the serial numbers indicate that about 100 units may have been manufactured. Basically, some key features which makes it unique is the direction that the engine sits, connected to a unique clutching system chain driven to a model A (or T) transmission. Also this tractor has separate turning brakes and is Articulate, (Meaning binds or turns in the middle like a skip loader!) Also this tractor is equipped with hand powered hydraulics. My tractor came with a Blade, Single turn over plow, and front Sickle Mower. I have restored my tractor and have only showed it three times since then. I am looking forward to pulling it out of storage this winter and getting her cleaned up and show ready once more. Tractor needs a few things to bring it back to original condition. Looking for Wheels (About the size of a Gibson tractor.) Also looking for a Wisconsin AEH Engine. For More Information Contact; Robert Bannister at rebthetractorman@gmail.com |
