mkirsch wrote on Monday, April 07, 2014 (PDT):Upon closer inspection, the head has matching dings. I'm thinking it dropped a valve. I did a quickie valve job on it, cut the seats and lapped in new valves. It runs good now even with that nasty piston in it.
