  • I grew up on a muck farm, my dad and grandfather had an OC6 that they bolted 24 oak 2x4s to the tracks. In the spring when we couldn t get on the field with anything else, that old Oliver would almost walk on water. We still have an OC3 from those days.

The Crawler is painted yellow and has a dozer blade , no PTO , the hydraulic has a 2 valve control but only one is being used for the blade .   • I have a 1948 Oliver Cletrac HG 60". It is 99% restored. It has bin converted from mag to coil. The only new parts were u-joints, gas cap & radiator cap. I bought the tractor for $50.00. The only motor work required was a valve job.

I manged to find another scrapped out unit with a good undercarrige so have since replaced tracks , rollers side frames , and front idlers , am now replacing the magneto with one i have built out of spare parts and then replace the ex valve and in take valve on # 4 cyl. This is a 4 cyl hercules gas engine with the oliver intake and exhaust manifold . have no manuals so am learning as i go . It is a 1942 model with a ware front loader attachment , If I can help with any questions please let me know . I reside in southern BRITISH COLUMBIA [ CRESTON ] .

THIS BLOCK IS USED FOR GAS APPLICATIONS SO HAS 4 SMALL MAIN BEARINGS.I WILL PULL PAN AND CHECK BEARINGS AND OIL PUMP. ALREADY TIGHTENED UP OIL PRESSURE REGULATOR TO MAX.TRACKS ARE GOOD BUT NEED ROLLERS AND PINS.DRIVE SPROCKETS WORN AND NEED WORK.MUST FIX HYDRAULIC PUMP. SEALS GONE. HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS GOOD.NO PTO OR REAR IMPLEMENTS. NEED ENGINE SIDE COVERS AND AIR CLEANER DUST COLLECTOR. NEAT TRACTOR.

  • I've got an OC-3 that runs quite well and has good tracks. It needs bushings in the idlers and first and reverse make some noise. The noise from those gears may be natural but in 2 & 3 the trans is very quiet. Anybody know about the noise and the bushings?
