Jeremy wrote on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 (PDT):I have an Oliver Super 99 Diesel sitting in by backyard in Western Montana. It was parked, with cultivator still attached, a while back, and just left. The tires are even still holding air. A little TLC to the fuel and electrical systems and some body work with a paint job, and this tractor would restore nicely. How much would you be looking to spend to pick it up? Please don't try to lowball me on this, as I will just do the restoration myself for use in tractor pulls and parades instead of agree to sell it.
jonboy wrote on Thursday, March 30, 2006 (PST):I just bought an oliver supper99 with 6 cyl diesel I would like to know how many were made like this one and the years they were made? I am going to use it for tractor pulling. How would it do against a JD 830?
Scott Walters wrote on Thursday, March 09, 2006 (PST):Dad had a 1958 super99 gm diesel with cab on it It also had a powermizer lp gas shot to it. Norman wrote on Friday, February 24, 2006 (PST):A friend of mine has an Oliver tractor. It is a Super 99, 3 cylinder diesel engine with a GM blower. I believe it was made in 1957-58. It hasn't been started for five years, still turns over. It moves but there is a problem with the transmission. Tin is in good shape, tires hold air but are checked. We would like to know what this tractor is worth in current condition or what it would be worth if we restore it.
Bryan Curtman wrote on Thursday, February 16, 2006 (PST):We are looking for a restorable or good running and clean condition Oliver Super 99 GM Diesel. Please e-mail price, condition, and location. $ won't scare me off, so get that extra buck by selling to someone truly looking to buy. Thanks!

Be S. wrote on Monday, December 26, 2005 (PST):Have a 1958 Oliver Super 99 Diesel 6 cyl. Does anyone know where we can get a two hose hydraulic system for it?
Terry E. Phillips wrote on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 (PDT):I remember when my brother and I drove this brand new tractor home to the farm. We spent many thousands of hours on it, ruining our hearing in the process, of course. We overhauled the 3 cylinder Jimmy engine several times and replaced the transmission and differential because they were not designed for the additional power of the engine. The Donaldson oil bath air cleaners were just not enough to keep the fine western Kansas dust out of the engine.

JOHN EMMERT wrote on Sunday, August 14, 2005 (PDT):We took our S99 to be restored last week, the only thing wrong w/ it is a ninor dent on the right fender, the mechanic is fixing any and all ecectrical wireing it might need,we are looking forward to taking it to the local tractor pulls,I farmed w/ it for about 20 years ,thats why my hearing is so bad.We will enclose pictures of it when its complete.
Hank Smith wrote on Friday, August 12, 2005 (PDT):I bought a Super 99GM at an auction in N. Dak. 2 years ago. It has since been restored and is a super tractor. I need some information regarding it. I have only 4 gears, but realize there are probably 8. I also have 36" tires instead of the 24" I read about. I am not on the internet at home for a couple of weeks yet, so please call me at (480)488-1850, I'll call you back so that it does not cost you money. I would also like to know if anybody knows any information about this tractor. It sat in a barn since 1977 until the auction in Aug. 2003. Thanks!

My fenders and hood were destroyed by heat and fire. the heat warp is to major to repair. can anyone help me in finding a set of rear fenders, hood, steering wheel, tachometer. even if they are junk I would still be interested in seeing photo's and maybe I would have something to at least work with. It would easily pull 2 and sometimes 3 of these ganged together. It was a sight to see in the late 50' and early 60's. I could cover 160 acs. in no time. I have a Franklin Mint 1/12 scale version of it now, but would like to find a full size one someday.
Cheryl M. Smith wrote on Thursday, April 22, 2004 (PDT):I am writing this letter in hoping and praying that I might find someone, who can direct me and help me find out how much my dad's John Deer Tractor is worth so that my mom can sell it and get what she deserves. My dad passed away a little over 2 years ago, and we would rather find some one who would take good care of it and put in some work hours with it. If anyone can direct us and tell us what to look for that will lead us to the answers that will help us find out how much its worth, that would be great. Thank you, Cheryl
