John Deere 440 Ic Gas Loader/Backhoe

Original Ad: 1958 440 IC Gas Crawler with 831 loader and aftermarket backhoe; direction reverser; cast iron counterweight set; John Deere log loader attachment (missing upper finger and hydraulic cylinder); service manual. Runs and operates well, smokes some. Has a 12-volt alternator. No major leaks or issues. I also have a canopy for it. Steering clutches and direction reverser were rebuilt about 15 years ago ($1000 in receipts) and I have done a minimal amount of work with it since (guessing 100-150 hours). Backhoe available separately for $1500 (will not sell crawler prior to backhoe sale).
