1939 Farmall B & 1941 Farmall H.

My Mother took this picture in the spring of 1946 of our nieghbor, (left,) Uncle, (Mom's Brother in the middle,) and my Dad (right). They just finished cleaning the cow yard and manure pile from winter and are going to clean the next neighbors cow yard. My dad had the only loader in the neighborhood at that time. It's a Farm Hand loader. It uses one cylinder and cables to the bucket at the back of the loader to tilt the manure bucket and 2 long cylinders on each side for lifting. It lifts aprox. 22 feet in the air. One lever which works like a joy stick to work up, down & tilt the bucket. It has it's own hydraulic pump and oil reservoir. The pump is driven from the power take-off shaft. My dad's neighbor in this picture bought this loader on our auction sale in 1989 and he still uses it on his Super H mainly as a scaffold which is what we used it for in later years.
