I was doing a web search trying to find out what year my dads tractor was and came across this site. I had a pretty good idea because I have the origional installment note dated march 19, 1941. Thanks to the ability to look up serial numbers I found out it is a 1940. So it is a 1940 Farmall H serial number 45764. He paid 749.70 with the following schedule of installments. July 3, 1941 101.55 October 31, 1941 103.35 December 3, 1941 104.55 March 31, 1942 106.35 June 31, 1942 108.50 September 31, 1942 111.20 December 31, 1942 114.20 My dad William and His brother Ray did farming in the Monroe area of Cheboygan county Michigan from 1940 to 1952 after the death of their father. I was born in 1954 after they moved so I don't know very much about it. It would be nice to know what happened with the tractor. Maybe the person who now owns it will visit here.
