1960 Ih #60 Plow

This photo was taken in February of 1960. My dad just brought home this new 3-14 IH #60 McCormick plow with trip bottoms. We had been plowing with a 2-16 IH #8 Little Genius McCormick plow. He is pulling it with our 1953 Super H. Dad had put IH Fire Creator pistons in it which gave it about 35 pto hp. (Original M's had about 36 pto hp.) We had 12-38 (new size 13.6) tires on the rear and 4 sets of wheel weights when we were plowing. It did really good. I plowed many acres with it. (I hope this is a vintage enough photo. It is in color!?)
