McCormick No. 16 Heavy Duty Plow With Farmall Super M

Here's a picture of the No. 16 I picked up for forty bucks at auction. I'm working on trying to de-rust the bottoms, as they push dirt more than roll it. It is a 3-16' trailer plow, hydraulic lift, and boy fun to operate. I pull it in first gear with quite ease, and as soon as those bottoms are shiny I bet I'll be up to second without a problem. It was pulled by my now deceased neighbor and his Super M-TA for many years in second gear without TA, and I had my doubts until I dropped this thing in the soil. The plow moves the power to the dirt very efficiently, I think, except that all the power goes into horizontally moving the dirt, as there is no vertical slide on the bottoms quite yet.
