This shows the upgraded fender support system installed on Ford 600/800 tractors beginning in 1956. The old system was the same as the 8N and NAA which had smaller fender skins. With the larger skin the old support system resulted in a lot of vibration on the 1955 Fords so in '56 the support system was changed to three braces which branched up from the base. You can see the middle and front braces. The rear brace is hidden behind the tire.
