3 Farmall One John Deere

Greetings Readers, Yesterday turned out to be a great day of agricultural appreciation as 5 of us piloted 4 different tractors in a farming area of North of Noblesville near Indianapolis. Pictured below are 3 Farmall tractors and one Deere 'B'. My brother-in-law Steve, his friends Jesse, Chris, Chris's son Daric, Ted, Ted's son Kyle, and I (Jay) are shown wrestling 3 Farmall tractors, and 1 Deere. Actually the only 'Wrestling' going on was when I drove Ted's McCormick Super WD9. Tractors also included Chris on his Farmall Super H pulling a 2-14' plow, friend Ted on his McCormick Super WD9 toying with a 3-14' plow, Steve on his John Deere B pulling 2-14', and Jesse on his Farmall B pulling a 1-16' plow. All plows were trip bottom type hitch. All the Farmall tractors have been restored back to mint condition. I did have the opportunity to drive 3 of the 4 tractors. With my great mechanical savvy, I managed to completely turn over the 1 bottom plow after attempting to back the plow up in the furrow after discovering I did not pull the trip rope mechanism hard enough to drop the bottom into the ground...yikes! Steve and I managed to right it and back onto the Far hitch, sorry Jesse, I don't think I bent anything. Wives provided a picnic lunch, Thanks wives! With 8 total plow bottoms, we completed about 30 acres owned by Steve & family. Only one thing would have made the day better...a billed hat and a bottle of sun screen...ouch.
