This contraption is about three feet long and weighs about 20 lbs. It has a handle at the top with a round loop in the handle that looks as if a rope goes through it and ties to another loop in a trip lever action that lets the handle slide up and retracts two prongs at the bottom of the spear. If the trip lever under the top handle is left down the prongs are locked in the extended stage. If anyone has any idea what its use was I would appreciate you letting me know. I have more pics if it helps.
