1961 Farmall 140 - Rear End Of Tractor

Finally getting somewhere! Started working on restoring Grandpa's tractor last fall! Cold weather this winter slowed Me down some but able to get back at it this spring. Almost done with rear half, just have to come up with rear seat and one spring assembly for seat. Then I can attack the body work, mainly the hood and front grille. Alreday did the split for bad ring gear and changed the clutch, refaced flywheel, changed throwout bearing, runs like new now! New carb, couldn't get the old one right, even after re-build. Too much corrosion and gumming up! too many years of sitting idle! Least the tires on rear in excellent shape! Rims were shot though! Not sure front rims are salvagable, look in pretty bad shape, guess I'll tackle those next! Hope to have this done by this fall! Sure is great to see grandpa's tractor looking good again!
