1949 Farmall M

This tractor has been in the family since new in 1949. I couldn't see it being sold to a stranger so I wanted to restore her. The farm has grown alot and the old M is one of the small tractors now. I remember as a kid watching my grandfather working with the M. I couldn't wait until I was old enough to push in the clutch so I could take over the feild work. The tractor used to be used from everything from plowing with an old #70 McCormick 3 bottom to filling silo with a one row #616 New Holland chopper. But now she has been downgraded to the manure spreader. Now you can see why I had to rescue her and restore her to the proud machine that she once was. This is a photo taken at the begining of the restoration. (Before)
