1955 Ford 850 (800 Series) - Date Code On Rear Axle

Ford tractors often have date codes cast into various parts. Sometimes the code is 'in code' and the date is not obvious. This is the date code on the right rear axle trumpet of a 1955 Ford 850. G225 indicated July 22, 1955. A=Jan, B=Feb, etc. The last digit is the year, thus the 5 indicates 1955. The 22 in the middle is the day of the month.
