1946 Farmall KS 1929 Case L 1940 Case D

Just another pic of old iron in use. The truck is a International KS6 (S stands for speed, for two speed rear axle). it was used originally by the Farmall dealer in Hillsboro, Washington County, Oregon. We bought it in 1959 and it has been in use since. It has a 250 straight six, overhead valve motor, 4 spd trans with granny, and a two speed rear axle. It is still 6 volt. The six volt wipers, lights, and two speed work. It is used for hauling filberts, grains, machinery, etc. The tractor on the truck is a 1929 Case L, the second L in Washington County. We bought it in 1947. It has never had a major overhaul and still operates and starts with the hand crank very well, as it does not have an electric starter. The other tractor is a 1940 Case D, that we bought in 1944. it has had several modifications, just like the L has. Just more old iron earning its keep. As in, all these machines are still in use.
