1946 Farmall KS6 1941 Massey Harris 101 Standard

this is the same Farmall KS6 truck as before, jsut this time with a different load. Now i am hauling a 1941 Massey Harris 101 Standard that was built as a farm tractor but that had a forklift adapted to the back in the 1960's. We bought it in 1968 to handle to totes in our filbert operation. The Massey has a six volt, flat head six Chrysler industrial engine. the barrel in front is full of rocks and is for counter wieght. The exhaust was modified to clear more tree limbs. the forklift tines are tied up right now so they do not hang over the back of the truck. The powersteering pump can be seen on the right side of the motor. the pump for the forklift runs off of the front of the crankshaft by means of a double link chain style of coupling. the forklift is 6 way adjustable. It is the only forklift that we have ever used, and performs a myriad of other tasks around the farm as well. thehickdaddy Submitted by Thehickdaddy, from OR
