My mother cut the tip of her finger off trying to unclog the lumpy fertilizer stuck in the dispenser (not a safe thing to do). It has little blades that go around and let out a dollop of fertilizer at an adjusted distance. The water was also dropped at an adjustable distance, set by the operator. As sooon as the plant droppers, sitting on the side seats, hear the click of the water dispenser, one drops a plant in the furrow dug by the transplanter and holds it until the pack wheels bring the dirt in around it. At the next click the worker on the other side drops a plant. The fertilizer attachment was an option. Submitted by Rose Smith, from PA
