Gravity Box Part, 25+ Years Old

This gear engages a track to open & close the gate on a very old gravity wagon. The wagon was red when new. There are no I.D. markings, names, or model numbers on the wagon anymore. The gear has a 1.00 inch bore for a shaft, a 0.25 inch [1/4] hole for a shear pin, has eight teeth, and is 4.00 inches diameter tip-to-tip on the gear teeth. The center hub is broken where the shear pin passes through. it was apparently a poorly made cast part, and was welded at least once before. It doesn't look repairable anymore. Anyone know where to buy this part, or the brand of the wagon?? Submitted by Chad Petersen, from MN |
