Unknown Model Combine Identified

I posted this pic several weeks ago as unidentified. Thanks to all ya'll who sent in info and pics I was able to conclude that this is a McCormick-Deering model no. 42R thresher/combine with a 4 foot cut made between 1940 and 1944. I is an absolutely beautiful and amazing piece of wartime built machinery. Goes to show how important the American farmer was during wartime when raw metals were highly valued. This piece has since been removed from its 30+ year resting spot and will soon reside in my garden as an interesting conversation piece.
