Case Threshing Machine

I do not wish to have this Machine identified as we all mostly know what it is used for. My point for Posting this Picture is to get opinions of the way this Machine was operated. It has solid Rubber on Steel wheels, A Tractor pull type Tongue, A Platform on the left side of the Machine to the rear of it which I think some kind of an Engine was mounted on it to power the Machine, the Gas Tank is still attached high up on the left rear side. The Bundle Chute is mounted low as if Bundles were pitched into it from a stack after the machine was pulled up to the Stack by some type of Tractor typical for the era. The Bagging platform has a Chute to slide filled and sewed shut bags of Grain to the ground for later pick up.Would this be an attempt to create a fore runner to the combine we know today? This Case Thresher sits abandoned on a large Ranch north of Congress Ariz. which in years gone by along with Cattle,Sheep, Pistachios[ a large Grove of Pistachio Trees still produce Nuts] raised Rye and Barley and this old Machine Seperated the Grain, but no one knows if it was stationary or if it was pulled by a Tractor [as i believe it was] from Bundle Stack to Stack with some Men pitching bundles on the go. what do you think?
