Chamberlain C6100 - Rear End Pto

Hi, This is a photo of the rear end of a Chamberlain C6100. I was wondering if someone knows what is suppose to be in the two holes above the oil level writing, the one on the left has no thread whilst the one on the right has a thread they both go in about 7mm. The last owner had them pluged with two bits of wood dowel.
