I need help identifying this old garden tractor. It has •Ford car 3-speed transmission (around 1939) •Ford car 9' clutch •Ford car rear end (3.78 to 1 ratio) •Large gear reduction drop boxes •4' band breaks •Shortened enclosed Ford car drive shaft from transmission to rear end •Ross steering box •Frame is made out of 3' channel and is 14' wide and 67' long •Frame is stamped in two places with a Serial Number of 1-17 •60' wheel base •16' rear wheels with 8-16 bar tires •Front wheels are split cast iron with 4.80-8 tires. •Original color was red/orange •I do not know what the original engine was •There are part numbers cast into different parts throughout the tractor. The numbers are six digits; all start with the prefix 492 with three additional numbers; 492-012 to 492-045. •There is a 'W' above the part numbers. I have been searching internet sites and attending tractor shows for eight years try to find one like mine. I purchased a second one and I know of a third one, but at this time all three are unidentified. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
