1973 Ford 5000

This is my Ford 5000 fitted with the original Ford 5DK cab built on July 12 1973. My father bought it in 1983 for use on our farm. I quit farming 5 years ago, but i kept this tractor because i grew up on it and it runs as good as it did in 83 when i first drove it. Even with more than 16000 ours on the clock and without any major repairs or overhaul on the engine except for one waterpump and new cylinderhead gasket about 10 years ago! So much for quality. This picture was taken recently as i was fitting an new fronttire as you can see with the jack underneath the frontaxle. These were very popular tractors here in the Netherlands at the time.
