The Massey Ferguson 701 Baler is an automatic engine or P.T.O driven Baler. The machine produces rectangular twine-tied hay or straw bales, the weight of which can be varied. Weighing between 4,000 and 5,000 lbs. (1,814-2,268 kilos), the balers main features are ; A welded fabricated steel frame; pneumatic tyres; a choice of diesel, vaporising oil, petrol engine of P.T.O drive; spring-tined pick-up; elevator; auger and packer feed into the bale chamber.
