Pony Unknown Year Possibly A 49

This thing is at my grandpa's house, it has a 6 volt ignition system, but using a 12 volt works fine. I blew up the coil; i accidentally left the key in the 'on' position, so it overheated and exploded. I actually found a piece of the cover almost 100' away! thank goodness no one was arownd when it blew... I DID have it running at one time, but then the rusty inside of the gas tank plugged up the carb, so I cleaned it, and I went in for lunch, and when I came back out, the coil had exploded.i think I'll put i a 12 volt system, and a coil cutout switch if the key is left on... * the lady to the left is my uncles girlfriend.* Submitted by Jack, from ON
