Ollie, This is a picture of the John Deere 830 Tractor the I fully restored. I rebuilt the differential and transmission. The took the engine out and had it rebored to .090. The engine then was completely rebuilt and installed before installing all new gauges, lights, tires, and wiring. This didn't need to overhaul the pony motor, but did have to install new coils and wires. And, had to rebuild the diaphram that shuts the fuel off to the carburator of the pony motor. The tractor was professionally painted and looks great. I know this isn't the discussion forum for John Deeres, so guys take it easy! But, Ollie wanted to know if I had pictures of other tractor projects. This tractor was also my Dad's, and I operated many hours when I was at high school age. Submitted by Richard Kinney, from ND |
