I removed the hydraulic lift cover of my MF-35, replaced the pump and hydraulic piston/cylinder. The originals were badly, badly scored and worn. And put the two-lever remote valve back on top of the cover. Anyhow, while putting it together -- I managed to dump my organized box of bolts/fasteners onto the dirt barn floor. I though had found them all, though no longer had the assurance of knowing which specific fastener went to which hole. Shortly after that, I had removed the head had it reworked then put it back together. A few days later, I found a special stud in the dirt where I had been working with the tractor for both the backend and engine. The stud is hollow with a hole in the side on the smooth shank between the two threaded ends. And one end has a nut. It looks like the stud has a passage way for oil, perhaps. anyhow, anyone recognize this special stud as part of the hydraulic system or top end of the engine?
