?, Ford 801 Select-O-Speed

I would like to know if the year of the 801 I just bought is really 1962 according to the list of this site. The # is 170901 and it says 155531 and up are 1962. Above the # I read 871-D and according to another list it tells me -D means it is a diesel engine but mine is a gas one. The seat is not original and I would like to know how was it at that time. Did it had upholstery on?
