1947 Farmall H - Water Pump Impeller Drive

The impeller shaft is turned by the barbell shaped arm. This arm is driven by the long studs that hold the fan blade assembly to the pulley hub. The springs around the long studs keep the impeller pushed against a thrust washer so the blades can't rub against the engine block. The bolt/pin holding the arm to the shaft is tapered and will only come out one way. The large nut between the arm and the fan blades is the gland nut that can be adjusted to prevent coolant leaks at the shaft packing.
