Miss. River Steam Boat - Old Steam Guage

This guage was manufactured by the utica steam guage co. in the late 1800s and refurbished by the corinth machine shop corinth miss. it might have been used on a miss. river steam boat in the pilot house (so the captian or pilot could monitor the steam presure also). it was mounted on a flat surface with countersunk screw heads, the guage is more ornate than the usual steam guage in that it has blued steel needle with gold leaf hub and nickel plate spun brass face and bevel glass crystal. i cleaned it up years ago and it looked like it belonged in a fine jewelry shop.
