Late 1800 Grindstone

This old stone was bought last August 2002 from a old farmer having a junk sale.All that I bought was the stone and the metal shaft and handle. I built the wood frame from memory as I seen in the late 1930ies when I was a very young child the stone is a Grind stone city stone cut in the 1800 in Huron County,Michigan; and it is still in good shape.The wood is Bass wood, light but stong.But must be kept out of the weather.
