1955 Ford 600

This is my 1955 Ford 600 (604 model 4 speed/PTO/hydraulics)It was originally painted hiway yellow from Ford and worked at Columbus Indiana.This has been in our family since 1965 (I believe). It is the first thing I have ever driven.(My dad MADE me drive it when I was 4 by myself.) You can see by the 'before' photo it was pretty bad off.My dad got back EVERY nickle of his 5 cents he put into ANY piece of equipment he owned!!! If it hadnt been ours,I wouldnt even considered redoing it!I had to replace every bearing and seal in it.Including some transmission gears.The input shaft had 2 teeth broken off and was STILL working fine ???? Dad died in June 2008,but I still have this to remind me of how we used to work together.From a little kid,right up to the days before he passed.I can keep this going for a long time.I wished it was the same with people we love.
