Deere & Mansur Planter, 1800S?

My wife and I have a planter, which from the limited research we have done, we believe to be one of Deere�s earliest. It is a two row check row planter. There is a round casting between the seed boxes which may be a second seat. This casting has the words �DEERE & MANSUR CO.� �MOLINE ILLS�. As far as I have been able to tell, this is the only location the word �DEERE� appears. The word �MANSUR� occurs in several places. The number �29� occurs at both ends of the axel. The seed boxes are wood and have wood lids. Considering its age it seems to be in very good condition. I find only 3 or 4 missing or replaced pieces. We have the tongue and two row markers. While it is difficult for me to judge, I believe it has half of its original paint. Our ultimate goal is to sell the planter. But before we do we would like to learn more about its history and attempt to determine what a fair price may be.
