Rare Rear Engined Tractor

I am a vegetable grower in Australia and I am trying to find out what the tractor in the photo is. It has the name Multi on it. There is one for sale locally but although it would be perfect for us I don't want to buy it unless I am sure I can get parts.
It seems to extremely rare - I can only find it once on the internet at http;//www.msusurplusstore.com/servlet/D etail?no=1832 I have emailed MSU for info.
It has 3 PTOs - amazing - I wonder what it was designed to do.
Can anyone identify it? Does anyone own one?
