Alternator Conversion Famall 560 Diesle

This is my alternator conversion. I had a small Hitachi that fit really well but wasn't regulated. I looked on eBay for something similar, and found this. It was rebuilt for under 30 dollars. It is a Mitsubishi 14706. Its internally regulated. I ran the factory amp gauge on the main charge wire and put an idiot light on the lamp wire. I ran the sense wire to the opposite side of the amp gauge. My gauge is keyed.? I had to use a different pulley and I had to make a small bushing to make it fit. You need the pulley as close to the alternator as you can get. Its still forward about an 1/8'. The alternator bracket as a spot around the bolt that could be filed off to be perfect, but I thought this was close enough. The rear bracket is stainless pipe with a 3/8 nut on the alt end, and a 7/16 nut on the bracket end. I drilled the alternator metric hole / over to 3/8' It fits nice. This is working really well.
