Massey Harris 55

I just bought this 55 Massey but it seems to me its a bit smaller looking than one that I'm familiar with at the local museum. The hood looks shorter and narrower and it doesn't seem to sit as tall even though it has 16.9x34s. It only seems as big as a 44. The serial number is 55-GS 5272 and was told its a 1949 model. My question to all of this is, did the earlier models of the 55 have a different body style or perhaps different sheet metal or do they all have a standard body style right through?
