1928 Rushton 14/28

Built in Walthamstow London UK from 1928 to 1932. Designed by George Rushton General Magager of AEC (Associated Equipment Company) in 1926. AEC manufactured trucks and the first motorised buses for The London Omnibus Company, WW2 Military Vehicles and the famous London Routmaster Buses. This is a very rare tractor with only about 10 known to have survived in the world from nearly 2000 made of which five are in UK, two in NZ and three in AUS. The reason Rushton Tractors ceased trading in 1932 was because a French distributor took delivery of 100 units but was unable to pay for them due to their Banks liquidation.
