Double Bomb Bay Door Style Manure Spreader ?

Picked this up recently and trying to identify it to potentially restore. It appears to have side by side bomb bay doors in bottom to dump manure that are held in place with a steel bar cradle held by a chain. The chain loops to the front and attaches to a pipe that has a gear attached to it which suggests an occupant would control to raise and lower. There's no evidence of it being ground driven. A very rusted stamping on the axle spells out something similar to Evansteed ?
