Subsoiler Implement, 1920S-1950S?

I would call this a ripper, it was drawn with a Cat D6 on our farm. It has five shanks, and a mechanism for lifting the teeth out of the ground. The wheels are metal. I cannot find another image like it on the internet. It has no stamped markings, except for a wired-on metal tag which reads HWF-25 I pulled it around our pasture, and it just scratched the surface and the shanks bundled up all the long grass were soon useless. I'd really like to get more info - date and manufacturer. A user manual might be helpful also.
