John Deere Model 30 Combine (Year Unknown)

A retired farmer at church gave this model 30 combine to me recently. It had been barn stored for some years after he stopped using it, but his son-in-law moved it out along a fenceline - long enough ago for a 6' diameter tree to have grown up in front of it. I had to replace a tire to road it home (about 5 miles), and it will need some sheet metal replacement in the lower sections where it had sunk down into the ground over the years. We only farm 15 acres, so this should be a good size implement for us once I get her going again. None of the local 'large scale' farmers are interested in running such a small plot.
