1953 John Deere 50

I bought this John Deere 50 in 1956 from Durand, Illinois and drove it 35 miles to my farm near Baileyville, Illinois. It was completely restored in 1994 and up until last year it was used to plant 400 acres of corn starting with a John Deere 494A planter to a 7000 planter. It has been on the Heritage Tractor Run with Max Armstrong the last two years. If this tractor could talk, it would have many stories to tell as it has worked hard over the last 37 years.
