1948 8N - Unknown Part

While cleaning out the hydraulics on my '48- 8n, I found this piece in the bottom of the case. Any body know where it came from? It's app. 3/4' by 3/16'. It has ribs on each side kinda like re-bar. One end is rusty & the other looks as though it was recently broken off of something. Submitted by Poot, from TX |
