Ford 8N - Priming Oil Pump

2N oil pump problems by Gene Watkins. After a re-build of my 8N I had no oil pressure no matter what. Used all the suggestions in the Ford forum. Finally I primed the system using a length of garden hose attached to the oil pan inlet. See picture.Once system is pressurized , plug, add oil and go. Submitted by Jim Qc, from QC |
